What is the principle of Laura system?
Laura works on Reflectance photometry
It is not open system. It is compatible for Erba Lachema strips only.
Sediments such as crystals and casts and the type of bacterial cells are possible to be seen in visual microscopy. Hence neither Laura Smart nor any Urine analyzer can replace Visual microscopy. Laura Smart is meant for routine screening of urine samples.
LAURA SMART is single strip reader whereas LAURA new version is continuous loading system for higher throughput of 400 tests per hour.
Laura does not require daily calibration.
Memory capacity of Laura is 2000 results. After 2000 results the 1st result will automatically deleted.
Cleaning of attached waste bin & conveyor belt is required.
Yes, it automatically reads the strips without changing any settings.
Yes it calculates the ACR ratio automatically by using special algorithms.
